The conference will begin with an opening reception on the evening of Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 5:00PM.
The public is invited to attend a lecture, given by Dr. Bruce Fouke, in the Mammoth Recreation Hall at 7PM on 5/3/2020 at which Dr. Fouke will receive the Superintendent's International Award from Yellowstone Superintendent, Cam Sholly.
The Yellowstone Volcano Observatory will hold a public meeting at the Gardiner Community Center on Monday, 5/4/2020. Please bring your questions about this dynamic landscape!
Conference registration is required to attend all other presentations.
Presentations and posters will draw from the fields of volcanology, geology, geobiology, hydrogeology, geohazards, glacial geology, and geomorphology.
A limited number of student scholarships and lodging may be available. Registration and abstract submission will begin on Monday, February 10, 2020. The cost for the entire conference is $60.
The conference is sponsored by Montana State University and Yellowstone Forever with support from partners throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and in coordination with Yellowstone Volcano Observatory.
